티타늄 하이드라이드 분말은 화약 및 야금 분야에서 모두 사용됩니다. 이니시에이터 스퀴브와 점화기에 사용됩니다. 또한 진공관 제조 공정에서 게터로 사용되며, 세라믹과 금속 봉합 시 브레이징 보조제로, 합금에 티타늄을 도입하는 용도로 사용됩니다. 순수 수소의 저장소, 금속 발포를 위한 수소 공급원, 탈산제 및 분말 야금에서의 탄소 흡수제로 사용되며, 티타늄 합금과 반제품 소결 제품의 생산에도 사용됩니다. AlNiCo와 TiCoNaI 소결 자석의 구성 요소로서, FeNiCoAlCu 자석의 보자력 증가에 사용됩니다.
