Albemarle is the country's largest lithium producer and manufacturer with its Lithium Hydroxide Processing Plant located at Kemerton, near Bunbury in the South West of Western Australia.

Greenbushes, Australia

Through our Talison JV, Albemarle holds a 49% interest in Greenbushes.

The hard rock lithium mine is located near the Greenbushes townsite in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes, approximately 240km south of Perth, Western Australia.

The operation focuses on hardrock spodumene mining and spodumene concentrates, with two spodumene concentrate plants. High quality spodumene product is supplied from the mine to Albemarle’s nearby Kemerton processing plant.

Albemarle's Kemerton manufacturing plant produces technical and battery-grade lithium hydroxide for use in energy storage and other industrial applications. It is located near Bunbury in the South West of Western Australia.

Wodgina, Australia

The Wodgina lithium mine – one of the world’s biggest hard rock lithium deposits – is located approximately 120km from Port Hedland in the Pilbara region in Western Australia's north, and 1530km from Perth.

Albemarle and Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes) are Joint Venture partners in MARBL lithium, which owns the Wodgina lithium mine. Each company has a 50:50 share in the mine producing lithium spodumene. MinRes operates Wodgina on behalf of the Joint Venture.
