Li2O2
Lithium Peroxide (CAS 12031-80-0) is an inorganic lithium salt with molecular formula Li2O2. It is typically supplied as a powder.
Typical applications include: Hardener for the polymerization of special plastics. Regeneration of the air, in space technology. It absorbs CO2 and releases subsequently O2. Raw material for the production of high purity lithium oxide (Li2O).
Store in a tightly sealed container to prevent contamination (and moisture pickup where applicable). Use standard industrial hygiene practices and consult the SDS for handling, incompatibilities, and spill response.
