Das Flammschutzmittel Tetrabromphthalsäureanhydrid SAYTEX RB-49 – Tetrabromphthalsäureanhydrid ist ein Zusatzstoff oder eine reaktive Zwischenstufe, die aromatisches Brom enthält.

Das Flammschutzmittel SAYTEX RB-49 wurde als reaktives Zwischenprodukt für den Einsatz in ungesättigten oder gesättigten Polyestern, in Polyolen, Estern und Imiden entwickelt. Das Flammschutzmittel SAYTEX RB-49 ist eine hocheffiziente reaktive aromatische Bromquelle. In einigen Fällen können die Derivate des Flammschutzmittels SAYTEX RB-49 bromhaltigere Flammschutzmittel auf Basis gleicher Gewichtsprozente und nicht auf Basis gleicher Bromanteile ersetzen. Das Flammschutzmittel SAYTEX RB-49 ermöglicht die Einbindung des höchsten Bromanteils in ungesättigte Polyester bei vergleichbaren Monomergehalten.
