スポジュメンは、リチアの強力な融剤特性により、ガラス、ガラスセラミックス、磁器エナメル、白色陶器、および釉薬に使用される。非常に低い熱膨張率を持ち、ガラス塊の粘度を低下させる。ガラスの輝きと強度に貢献する。スポジュメンは、連続鋳造粉末、べたつき防止剤などの冶金用途や、鋳造用フィーダー製造の添加剤としても使用される。
