Albemarle Care Fund
The Albemarle Care Fund is a global non-profit organization designed to enable employees and retirees around the world to directly help one another. The Care Fund provides funds to assist those who experience financial hardship due to a natural disaster, life-threatening illness or injury, death or other catastrophic circumstance beyond the employee’s control.
Time and time again, the Albemarle Care Fund has been initiated by employees who seek to help one another during distressing events and difficult times. This program exemplifies the true power of our people who have utilized this resource to provide overwhelming support to colleagues in need.

Albemarle care fund in action
On June 26, 2019, New Johnsonville Operator Larry Mosley passed away after experiencing difficulties from a blood clot. His daughter Bridgette, niece Tonya and nephew Steven, all work at our New Johnsonville site. A quick “pass-the-hat fundraiser," coupled with a GoFundMe campaign, brought in over $6,000 for Larry's wife and surviving family.
