With The Closure With The Unions Of Planta Salar, Albemarle Culminates All Anticipated Collective Bargaining With Its Unions

Santiago, December 4, 2023.- Albemarle, a global leader in the supply of essential elements for Mobility, Energy, Connectivity and Health, announced that after weeks of constructive talks, it successfully completed the early collective bargaining process with the Sindicato Unitario De Trabajadores Establecimiento Planta Salar De Albemarle Limitada, which brings together 122 workers of the company and with the Albemarle Salar Company Workers' Union, which is made up of 80 people.

The company, which has been producing lithium in the country for more than 40 years and is developing a series of initiatives for the new era of lithium, highlighted some aspects of this early collective bargaining that allows them to reach a sustainability agreement that projects the future of the company and its workers. The new agreement prepares them for the future in terms of making people and the organization grow, generates opportunities and common points to work together.

This important agreement establishes the conditions, rights and obligations of both parties, in a collective agreement that came into force on December 1, 2023.

In this way, Albemarle successfully completes the early collective bargaining process with the company's five unions.
