Sabalith® (LiNO3/KNO3-mixture with foaming agent)

Sabalith (LiNO3/KNO3-mixture with foaming agent) is a specialty inorganic salt mixture. It is typically supplied as a granular.

Typical applications include: Nitrite-free heat transfer salt for salt bath curing in open or closed circulations, e.g. in LCM installations for the vulcanization of rubber.

Many reagents in this class react readily with moisture and oxygen. Handle under dry, inert conditions using air‐ and water‐free techniques, and add slowly/with cooling when quenching or charging to control heat release. Consult the SDS and site-specific procedures for compatible materials, fire response, and storage.
