Lithium Bromide (CAS 7550-35-8) is an inorganic lithium salt with molecular formula LiBr. It is supplied as a typical 55% solution in water.
It is used in absorption and dehumidification systems where hygroscopic salts are required. Operating medium for air-conditioning and air or gas-drying equipment.
Store in a tightly sealed container to prevent contamination (and moisture pickup where applicable). Use standard industrial hygiene practices and consult the SDS for handling, incompatibilities, and spill response.
