Job Description
Albemarle is hiring for a Lubrication Technician. This position is located on site at Kemerton.
What You Will Do
-
Proactively participate and support the Site Safety initiatives and programs (JHA, SCANs, DRA, PTW).

Undertake routine lubrication tasks and inspections of allocated plant sections, raising corrective notification as required.

Carry out oil sampling routines ensuring samples are collected, labelled, and sent offsite.

Track oil analysis reports and raise corrective (secondary) lubrication tasks.

Undertaking planned secondary lubrication tasks.

Ensure that lubrication workshop, mobile equipment, tools, plant, and equipment are maintained in proper working order.

Use and maintain lubrication and maintenance management systems (Lube IT and SAP).

Complete all required record keeping, ensuring equipment files, test results, failure history, etc. are captured.

Support the maintenance team on lubrication tasks acting as a specialist in this area and applying best lubrication practices.

Support Hydro-Carbon Management strategies by implementation of the standard practices in the field.

Provide feedback to Reliability and Planning team to aid the improve of equipment and lubrication techniques.

Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area both during and after completing a job. This includes spills cleaned up (with oils and other wastes disposed of appropriately).
What You Bring
Required:
-
Ability to read and understand mechanical/piping drawings and P&IDs.

Experience and understanding of computer packages
-
5 years’ previous experience preferably in a commissioning environment.

Minimum two years relevant on-the-job training in one or more of the following fields: machine lubrication, engineering, mechanical maintenance and/or maintenance trades associated with fixed plant.

Working knowledge of Australian and International Standards.

Experience with CMMS system - SAP.

Experience with Lubrication Software packages.
Preferred:
-
CML MLT or ISO LCAT Level 1 certification or higher

Current nationally accredited Working at Heights Ticket.

High Risk qualifications are highly regarded (Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, Rigging, Crane CN).

Current nationally accredited Confined Space Ticket.

Current WA C Class Driver’s License as a minimum.

Current holder of relevant trade qualifications highly desirable
