Ketjen, wholly owned subsidiary of Albemarle Corporation, is seeking rising sophomore and junior college students to join our Fall 2024 Commercial Business Co-Op Program. The ideal candidate would be available to work full-time for 12 weeks from August 26th to November 29th at our Clear Lake Headquarters in Houston, TX.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using databases to locate key information
• Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hrs/week)

EDUCATION

• Seeking sophomore or junior level candidates (any graduation date between Dec 2025 - May 2027)
• Pursuing a Bachelor's from an ABET Accredited University majoring in Business, Marketing or a similar discipline
• Desired Cumulative GPA 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Responsibilities for the Commercial Business Co-Op includes one or more of the following:

• Setup a database that can be updated monthly and used by members of the Commercial team to track competitive intelligence.
• Consolidate ad hoc reporting into a useable format for business, marketing and sales related activities.
• Create dashboards to be used by team and executive management to evaluate industry trends.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess and score critical data used in decision making related to market selection.
• Collaborate with teams across Ketjen’s global commercial organization.
• Make an impact by learning from commercial organization and delivering insights gained from assignment.
