Role Description
The Ketjen S&OP Manager will support a team of planners as they act as the liaison between business, manufacturing, and procurement to transform high level strategy into executable operational plans. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Ketjen Supply Chain.
Responsibilities
Oversee and support the work and professional growth of the Ketjen Planning Team
Support the S&OP cycle process with the sales and business teams to develop executable plans on an 18+ month planning horizon.
Be the global expert for balancing the supply and demand plans with a forward-looking view.
Identify opportunities, risks and obstacles to plan achievement, driving their constituencies to issue resolution.
Oversee administration, software upgrades and maintenance and support of the SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) system.
Actively report and assist in the management of working capital targets for the global business including calculating and managing inventory targets, safety stocks for all materials at SKU/location level and updated monthly inventory forecasts.
Accountable for compiling Forecast Attainment metrics, in conjunction with Operations and Commerical Partners.
Requirements
ยท2+ years Leading professional teams in a project or management capacity
5+ years of experience in Sales and Operations Planning, Supply and Demand Balancing, Operations Management, Production Control, Inventory Management or Scheduling
Basic knowledge and competency in SAP
The following experience is considered desirable, but not mandatory:
Direct experience in SAP IBP
Experience working within supply chain functions
Experience in information gathering, analysis and management reporting
Experience with modeling, analysis and simulation tools

Work Logistics
The position is located in the Houston Clear Lake Office.
Under normal operating conditions, this role will work to the usual organizational policies and normal practices of the given business unit. However, if the Manager is notified outside of normal working hours to conduct a task that has critical business impact, then they will be expected to perform the role out of hours to the extent required to protect the organization.
Education and Training
An undergraduate degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, mathematics, accounting or a related field
