Gottwald Scholarship Recipients 2020

We're pleased to announce the 2020 Albemarle Gottwald Scholarship program recipients.

The Albemarle Foundation scholarship program began in 2007 to assist Albemarle dependents with the cost of college. The program awarded two $2,500 scholarships per year based solely on merit. In 2010, Dr. Bill Gottwald donated over $1 Million to an endowment to create the Gottwald Scholarship Program. This investment expanded the number of scholarship awarded and created criteria for need-based scholars, including the annual $5,000 Gottwald Scholarship. This year, Albemarle Foundation has the honor of granting nine scholarships to dependents of Albemarle employees.

At sites across the globe, our employees donate time and money to help ensure students and teachers have what they need to succeed.
