Naphtha
line

Naphtha is one of the easiest feedstocks to hydrotreat. Removing sulfur and nitrogen to protect downstream reforming catalysts is the most common application. Hydrotreatment of naphtha from cokers and fluid catalytic crackers brings additional challenges. Special catalysts and processes have been developed to deal with the contaminants and reactive components in these feedstocks.
