Max. distillate

Max. mid-distillate hydrocracking is the fastest growing segment of the hydrocracking market due to the growing world-wide demand for diesel. There are a variety of unit configurations for max. mid-distillate operation, from once through to full recycle. Most operate at high pressure in order to achieve high conversion and good product quality.

Max. mid-distillate catalysts can, depending on the reactor configuration, be amorphous silica-alumina or zeolitic. Both NiMo and NiW formulations are used. Albemarle offers both zeolitic and amorphous catalysts for this service.
