Max. Naphtha
line

Max. naphtha hydroconversion is usually aimed at conversion of cracked distillates (LCO and coker distillate) as well as heavy atmospheric gas oils to naphtha. This is the predominant type of hydrocracker in North America. These hydrocracking units can be once through or full recycle in configuration. Catalysts for max. naphtha operations are the highest activity hydrocracking catalysts and are always zeolitic. They require feed pretreatment to very low levels of nitrogen in order to achieve the best performance level.

Albemarle offers several catalysts for max. naphtha service in both NiMo and NiW formulations.
