Processing of vacuum gasoil and light residue requires an active catalyst with high accessibility and a matrix system for premium bottoms conversion. In many cases, coke selectivity is of secondary importance.

RUBY is optimized for rapid diffusion of feed molecules to the catalyst active sites as is required in short-contact time units. It has a wide formulation window to meet user requirements such as maximum gasoline, maximum octane barrels and maximum octane.
