EMERALD is optimized for rapid diffusion of residual feed feedstock molecules to the catalyst active sites as required in short-contact time units. It is also recommended for units needing additional bottoms conversion capability and not limited by delta coke. It has a wide formulation window allowing it to meet the unit objectives such as maximum gasoline, maximum octane barrels and maximum octane.
