Albemarle offers a variety of FCC catalysts for resid operations ranging from the lowest delta coke to the highest bottoms conversion catalysts. Albemarle is extremely flexible in matching the characteristics of an FCC catalyst to a specific unit’s requirements and limitations.

AMBER contains ADM-20 for premium bottoms conversion and is assembled for maximum access of very heavy residual feed molecules to the catalyst active sites. Vanadium and iron tolerance are enhanced to allow the highest possible cracking of resid to transportation fuels.
