ELIMINOx

ELIMINOx, a non-platinum promoter, represents the latest development in CO combustion promoter technology. By careful tuning of the CO promotion activity, the formation of NOx is hampered while optimal burning of coke is maintained.

ELIMINOx is often utilized in conjunction with Albemarle’s NOx reducing additive, KDNOx-2001. ELINIOx is a unique bimetallic CO combustion promoter that is equivalent in performance to conventional platinum-based promoters, but unlike its platinum counterparts, ELIMINOx does not oxidize NH3 and HCN to NOx. These intermediate compounds are formed in an FCC unit from the nitrogen-containing molecules in the coke.
