Dayton, Ohio

The Dayton site houses Albemarle's small scale cGMP pilot plant and associated cGMP kilo labs. The facility sits on 3 acres located south of downtown Dayton and employs approximately 50 employees and contractors in a range of technical and non-technical roles.The pilot plant facility contains multipe reactor trains ranging in size from 30 gallons to 200 gallons.

The kilo labs also possess an array of equipment from 5 L to 100 L scale. These facilities are used by Albemarle's employees to assist customers with an array of services including; process development, intermediate and API production, analytical testing and method development, stability studies, and validations/regulatory filings. The site's assets are highly adaptable and well-suited to the rigors of flexible manufacturing.
