Mark C. Rohr

Mark C. Rohr serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Albemarle. Mr. Rohr was elected President and Chief Executive Officer effective October 2002 and assumed the additional role of Chairman in August 2008. Mr. Rohr joined Albemarle as Executive Vice President of Operations in March 1999 and was named President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2000. Before joining Albemarle, Mr. Rohr served as Senior Vice President, Specialty Chemicals of Occidental Chemical Corporation (chemical manufacturer with interests in basic chemicals, vinyls, petrochemicals and specialty products and subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation). > Download biography
